Important themes from Hebrews 2:
*If we don’t pay attention to what God says through His Word, we will drift away from Him. (vs. 1)
*Everything is in subjection to our Creator, and because of that, nothing is outside His control. (vs. 8)
*As of right now, in this life, we don’t see everything in subjection or how He controls it. (vs. 8 again)
"It was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering." (vs. 10, ESV)
Let’s put it this way: In bringing us to His glory, Jesus suffered and was made perfect through suffering (because he didn’t cave to the trials, I’m guessing).
Now, “How shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?” (vs. 3, ESV)
